Impressions of the Unconscious - Surrealist Engravings
As part of my degree in Art Appraisal and Commerce at IESA Paris, I wrote a dissertation on an exhibition project dedicated to surrealist printmaking, exploring the expression of the unconscious and dreams. This study highlights how artists such as Dalí, Ernst, Miró, and Carrington used printmaking to give form to an enigmatic and dreamlike imagination.
By analyzing their techniques and innovations, this thesis offers an immersion into a fascinating universe where art becomes a reflection of the depths of the mind.
